Types, causes and treatment of acne


 



Acne is a common skin disease or condition that affects most people at some point, due to hormonal imbalance. Acne is characterized by the appearance of blackheads or whiteheads, pimples, and oily skin. And acne appears on the surface of the skin of the face, neck, chest, back and shoulders. These are the areas of the skin that contain the largest number of effective sebaceous glands .. The appearance resulting from acne can lead to anxiety, insecurity and in extreme cases depression.


Types of acne



Blackheads: clearly visible, they are black and appear on the surface of the skin.


Whiteheads: small bumps, usually pink, that are visible on the surface of the skin.


Pimples: are clearly visible on the surface of the skin, are red in color.


Nodules: are clearly visible on the surface of the skin. They are large and painful deep in the skin.


Cysts: are clearly visible on the surface of the skin. It is painful and full of pus.



Causes of acne.


There is no single factor that causes acne. Acne appears when the sebaceous glands are stimulated at the time of puberty or due to other hormonal changes. Acne can appear as whiteheads if covered with a thin layer of skin, or as blackheads if exposed to air. Irritants and natural bacteria can cause infections.


Here are some of the causes of acne:


The beginning of puberty: due to hormonal disorders in both female and male sexes.


Food: A diet high in carbohydrates such as milk, and pure chocolate will help exacerbate acne.


Cosmetics: The use of some cheap and not suitable cosmetics and skin care products for the type of skin.


Sebaceous adenitis: The sebaceous glands in humans are found in large numbers on the face


Dirt: The oils secreted by the sebaceous glands collect in the pores as the skin is exposed to bacteria.


Heredity: If one of your parents has severe acne, your acne is likely to be more difficult to control.


Stress: In some cases, stress can exacerbate acne.


Medicines: Some medications may cause acne, such as those containing iodine, bromine, or oral or injectable steroids.


Occupations: In some jobs, exposure to synthetic products may lead to acne.
