8 Best DIY Face Scrubs - Homemade Natural Facial Scrubs


 



1. SUGAR


1. Combine all ingredients(1 tsp organic cane sugar (or granulated sugar) ,1-2 drops of water ,1-2 drops orange, lemon, lavender or melaleuca essential oil (optional))  in a small bowl. 

2. Using the tips of your fingers, gently rub scrub into clean face. Take care to avoid the eyes. 

3. Remove by rinsing with cool water, and pat dry with a clean towel. Add on a layer of oil as a moisturizer, if necessary.


2. BLUEBERRY AND HONEY SCRUB


1. Combine all ingredients(1/2 cup fresh blueberries,2 tbsp honey (raw and local is best) ,1-2 tbsp sugar) in a small food processor, and blend until smooth.

2.   Add a generous layer to clean face, and allow to sit for 15 minutes. Rinse clean with warm water. 


3. LEMON AND SUGAR SCRUB


1/2 fresh lemon ,1/2 cup granulated sugar,1 tbsp olive oil ,1 tbsp organic honey 

Made from fresh lemon juice, sugar, olive oil, and honey.Combine all ingredients  in a small bowl.

4.HONEY AND OATMEAL SCRUB


1. 1/2 cup of uncooked oats,2 tbsp honey ,1 tsp nutmeg,15 drops lavender essential oil ,15 drops melaleuca essential oil ,1 tsp dried lavender (optional).

2. Using the tips of your fingers, gently rub scrub into clean face. Take care to avoid the eyes. 

3. Remove by rinsing with cool water, and pat dry with a clean towel. Add on a layer of oil as a moisturizer, if necessary.


Honey, Oatmeal, Nutmeg, Lavender and Melaleuca essential oils are joined together in this simple exfoliating face scrubs.  It may help to reduce breakouts, even skin tone, and moisturize


5.  BANANA SCRUB


1. Take two ripe bananas, mash and add ground sugar. 

2. For hydration and moisture, add one tablespoon of honey. 

3. Gently massage this mildly fragrant pulp on your face for five minutes, 

4.then wash it off with cool water.


6. HONEY-ORANGE SCRUB


1. Combine orange peel powder and oats in equal amounts (two tablespoons each) and mix one tablespoon of honey. 

2. Adjust the consistency to a thick paste,with a little water. 

3. Apply on clean skin using very mild upward and small circular strokes. Let it sit on face for a couple of minutes.

4.  rinse well. Pat dry, tone and moisture.


7. CURD-PAPAYA SCRUB


1. Mix half-a-cup of ripe mashed papaya with two tablespoons of hung curd, three drops of lemon juice and one tablespoon of honey.

2. Massage this homemade facial scrub into your skin using gentle circular motions. 3. Leave it on for five minutes and then rinse thoroughly with cool water.


8. COFFEE GROUND AND COCOA SCRUB


 skin brightening facial scrub is interesting because it contains coffee grounds and cocoa powder -- two products that are great for the skin.


 Add honey and oil and you have a super moisturizing scrub that's good for all skin types.


9. BAKING SODA SCRUB


1. 2 to 3 Tbsp. Baking soda

Small amount of water

2. Mix the ingredients into a paste.

Using a circular motion, apply to face and gently scrub.


10. ROSE ALMOND SCRUB


 To brighten and soften skin.


 1 tsp rosewater,1/2 tsp almond flour or finely ground almonds.Mix into paste and apply.


11. SEA SALT


 Sea salt is full of trace minerals that rejuvenate your skin, stimulate cell growth, and help your skin retail moisture. A sea salt scrub is great for dry skin. Mix with lavender essential oil and/or your favorite massage oil (olive, jojoba, grapeseed, almond, etc.) to make a paste. Scrub on your face in a circular motion,rinse, wash as usual.


12. SUGAR SALT SCRUB


mix salt and sugar with your favorite massage oil to make paste .Scrub on your face in a circular motion, rinse, wash as usual.


13. COFFEE BANANA SCRUB


 Combine coffee powder and banana and make it to paste.Scrub on your face in a circular motion, rinse, wash as usual.


14. ORGANIC CITRUS SUGAR SCRUB


1 Small Lemon

1 Small Lime

1 Cup Pure Cane Sugar

1/2 Cup Coconut Oil

1 Teaspoon Peppermint Essential Oil/Extract

Mint Leaves, lemon & lime peels (optional)


Combine the oil and all of the moist ingredients, then add the sugar and lemon and lime peels as a garnish, then stir.make it to paste.Scrub on your face in a circular motion, rinse, wash as usual.


15. RICE FLOUR SCRUB


1. Mix one teaspoonful of rice flour and one teaspoonful of honey.

2. Use this to gently scrub the face in upward circular motion.

16. TOMATO AND SUGAR SCRUB


1. Take one tomato and cut it in half. Squeeze the juice and in that juice add some sugar.

This face scrub is for all skin types and quite effective for skin lightening as well.


17. STRAWBERRIES SCRUB


 Just take a strawberry and cut it. Massage on the face and keep for 10 minutes. It will gentle exfoliate the face and lightens the acne scars.


18. PAPAYA AND SUGAR SCRUB


Take a thin slice of papaya and along with some sugar crush it to make paste. Use this paste which is your papaya facial scrub on the face to exfoliate. After the scrubbing you can leave it on the face for 10 minutes as a face mask to double its benefits. Regular use of this homemade face scrub will make the skin extremely beautiful and spot free.


19. ALMOND POWDER AND MILK SCRUB


 Crush few almond to form almond powder and then mix it with some milk. For dry skin, use milk cream. Now, apply the scrub on the face and with light pressure of finger pads exfoliate the face. Wash with cold water for good results and try 2 times in a week. Soon skin will become spotless and smoother.


20. COFFEE SCRUB


 Mix coffee with some water to make paste. Half a teaspoonful of coffee would be sufficient for one usage. Apply the scrub on the face with light pressure and circular motions. Scrub for 2 minutes then wash the face with cold water. Men can too try this facial scrubbing tip.
